In one word Patnem beach is just Homey, it is not a very long beach neither is it short, most of the year it is almost empty of travelers, which is very surprising considering how close it is to Palolem beach – the real center of south Goa.

If you are looking to see Patnem, and check the resorts there, you may take a stroll along the sea from Palolem, just walk down south, cross at the south-most corner and over the rocks, around Neptune point and through Green Park resort, carry on the outskirts of Colomb bay and into the village, keeping the beach at your right side all the time, when you get to a T junction and the beach reveals is in front of you, you have reach Patnem.
