Most of the cottages in Agonda are fairly new, since Agonda beach has come to blossom in the last 10 years, and the resorts that had been around beforehand had been either rebuild since or taken by new owners and recreated to fit the tourist that usually travel there.

Some of the resorts at the back of the beach have concrete structure and the cottages are more like standard hotel rooms, set with AC, large beds, hot water showers, and everything else you might expect to find in a semi luxurious resort.

Agonda resorts

Like many of the resorts in Goa, most of the motels set on the beach of Agonda, are more traditional, and the rooms are set around a common area, in the form of a bar and restaurant on the beach, serving the resort guests and anyone else walking in as well, the rooms are fancy beach huts made of wood and bamboo, and includes of basic furniture, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, a small porch, and hot showers.
