The best time to come to Agonda beach is from November to March. Agonda beach is still considered relatively off the beaten track and never really gets too busy. Peak tourist season in Agonda beach is from December to February, and the low seasons are from November to December and February to March. All beach hut resorts in Agonda and Goa are constructed temporarily every year due to the heavy monsoon rains and weather from May to October. There is accommodation and restaurants open in Agonda beach during the monsoon season, but the choices are limited.

Agonda beach is considered very romantic, laid back and the perfect paradise spot to get away from it all. Rent a scooter bike for 200 INR per day and explore the surrounding area of Agonda village. Cola beach and Cabo da Rama Fort and beach are located approximately 15 to 20 mins north of Agonda beach. On the way there’s a beautiful temple in the jungle to visit, and a gorgeous landscape filled with rice patty fields, palm trees and Goan village life passing you by. From Agonda beach, dolphin viewing and picnic boat trips to Honeymoon and Butterfly beaches is also an amazing day out.
