Surya Cafe and Huts located on idyllic Galgibag beach in south Goa is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a barefoot beach hut holiday - but without compromising all their creature comforts! Comprising of just two spacious timber bungalows and a simple cafe shack, it offers a little bit of laid back luxury on one of south Goa’s most secluded places, Galgibag beach.

The two wooden bungalows (one of which is beachfront, and both enjoying stunning sea views) are comfortably fitted out, with wooden furniture, big beds, stylish bathrooms, and private verandas with cushioned chairs for lounging.

Step outside, and the onsite cafe-bar may look basic with its plastic chairs and tables, but it serves up plate of oysters, fresh crab, whole fish and Goan specialities that would give a fancy seafood restaurant a run for its money.

There’s little else to do, other than walk the golden sands, swing in a hammock, swim in the sparkling sea and enjoy a chilled beer as you watch the magical sunset. Heaven!

Surya Cafe & Huts is located near the center of Galgibag beach. Goa. The closest Bus Stand is in Galgibag Beach 500 meters away, or Canacona / Chaudi 15 km away. Canacona Train Station – 14.5 kms. Dabolim International Airport, Goa – 75 kms. Within a 25 km radius of Galgibag Beach is Talpona beach, Rajbag beach, Patnem beach, colomb beach, Palolem beach, Agonda beach, Cola Beach and Cabo da Rama.

Both beach bungalows are extremely spacious, stylishly decorated and equipped with wooden furniture, large double beds, modern en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets, fans, and private balcony's with comfortable chairs for lounging.

Restaurants and Bars

Surya's Cafe claim to fame is that Gordon Ramsay once ate here! The beachfront cafe-bar looks basic with plastic chairs and tables, but it offers stunning sea views and their menu includes oysters, fresh crab, whole fish, Surya's special thin chips and local Goan cuisine straight from the owners kitchen.

Cancellations

Deposit will be refunded If booking is cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date.
Any cancellations made after this date will not receive a refund.
Deposits are non-refundable for bookings during the Peak Period from Dec 20 to Jan 5.
