Shanti Agonda is a popular beach resort located on Agonda Beach, South Goa. Situated right on the beach, it is surrounded by coconut palms and casuarina trees, which provide lots of shade for this lovely resort.

With eight beach huts in total, four made from coconut palm leaves and four made of wood, these simple yet comfortable beach huts have become extremely popular with regular Goa travellers. Each beach hut has an attached bathroom and spacious verandahs.

Reviewing other resorts with similar facilities Shanty resort and the beach huts are good but not the best in south Goa but at the same time the price range of this resort is fair enough.

Agonda beach is just north of Canacona region, around 8 kn from Palolem beach, is has been discovered by travelers not so long ago, and still engoys a level of seclusion at least in part of the season. it is set to welcome all sort of tourist, with simple beach huts to very fancy (and expensive) Goa cottages, and all included yoga retreats.

These beach huts are situated in the plot next door to the restaurant and three of them have uninterrupted sea views. The other has a sea view too. These are very spacious rooms with a double bed, mosquito net and fans. They have an open-roofed bathroom with shower and western style toilet and a large balcony from which to watch the setting sun or relax and read a book.

Location

Shanti Agonda is located towards the northern end of Agonda beach in South Goa. The closest Bus Stand is in Agonda beach or Canacona / Chaudi 10 kms away. Canacona Train Station – 9 kms. Dabolim International Airport, Goa - 50kms. Within a 15 km radius of Agonda beach is Palolem beach, Patnem beach, Rajbag Beach, Galgibaga Beach, Cola Beach and Cabo da Rama fort. Shanti Agonda beach resort is situated close to the central part of the village, where there is a variety of restaurants and shops open till late at night. It is also not far from the happening nightspots in Palolem beach such as Silent Noise party’s and Alpha Bar.
